My wife and I just got home from seeing it today. For some reason, I'm just attracted to the macabre films.  Basically, all I can say is that if you liked the first one, you'll enjoy this one as well. In fact, this one has a few plot twists that I thought made it better than the original. Yes, it still suffers from bad acting, but hey, it doesn't take much acting skill to torture and kill people, does it? I won't go into any details of the movie, so as not to spoil it for anyone. Whether you see this film or not depends on your reaction to the first Hostel. If you liked it, then this one probably won't disappoint you. |
Yeah, I know. But you can never have too many! That's why I was hoping there would be more in the sequel. Nubile, naked, young, honeys are the only redeeming factor of gorefest movies of this genre. The torture thing is just kinda disturbing. |
Hostel II is almost the same movie as Hostel, only with more backstory into the business, and not as much gore and boobage. 2 out of the 3 chicks are hot. Guess which one we get to see naked.  The "surprise" ending Eli Roth promised is huge letdown. I would say more about it, but I don't want to add spoilers for those who want to waste their money. |
