Since this is now the "official" sticky instead of the old one
(pre-page-limit thread), here are step-by-step instructions for the
current version of the site (accurate as of 12/21/12).  I will try to
edit the original post, but the site isn't letting me.






Ten easy steps to add an avatar to your Arfcom screen name:










  1. You must be a TEAM member in order to add an avatar.  TEAM memberships can be purchased in the Ar15.com Store.



  2. If you just purchased a TEAM membership, log out, and back in.



  3. Click the "profile tool” icon in the upper left corner of your browser window after you have logged in (or click here).



  4. Scroll to the bottom left corner, and click on "Upload Avatar” (or click here).



  5. Click the "browse” button to find the image file you wish to use
    as your avatar (it must be 175 pixels wide, by 75 pixels high, >20Kb
    in size, and .jpg, .gif, or .png in format).



  6. Click the "open” or ”OK” button.



  7. Click the "submit” button.



  8. Post a reply in this thread to test your new avatar.



  9. ????



  10. Profit!
