From an email I got:
After devoting the last six months of my life and well over $100,000 of my own money to try and correct the historical record about the media coverage of the Presidential election, the much anticipated documentary is now about to be released and I wanted you to be the first to get all of the details. Here are the really important things for you to know... –– Over this weekend the trailer for the film will be available exclusively at the brand new and improved http://www.HowObamaGotElected.com –– You will be able to be among the first to see the film (which includes as special features the entire exclusive Sarah Palin interview and the "Obama Voter" video) by purchasing it at http://www.mediamalpracticemovie.com/order-media-malpractice.asp –– On Monday, a scene from the film will be released on Youtube and posted at our website. –– Also on Monday, barring major breaking news, I will be on a series of national TV shows starting with NBC's Today Show in the 7 am hour as well as the O’Reilly Factor on Fox News that evening. Here is what I need you to do... –– Please go to http://www.mediamalpracticemovie.com/order-media-malpractice.asp and purchase the film –– Please ask a friend to do the same. Here is why that is important.... –– If we get the initial exposure that we expect, the first batch of films is going to be gone very quickly and if you don't act immediately it may be a little while before we can get you your copy. –– By acting immediately you will enable us to use those resources to further promote the film (we are currently building a promotional fund through investors) and the cause of media accountability. I am extremely proud of this film and I am positive that you will thoroughly enjoy the dvd. I have literally put everything I have into this project and I hope that you will continue your support of this important effort by getting your copies as soon as you can. While I appreciate your e-mail responses as always, please refrain from returning this e-mail unless you have a very specific question/problem or have some legitimate offer of support because I will be traveling to promote the film and I need to keep my e-mail box as clear as possible. Thanks so much for your support. All the best John Ziegler |

I'm sorry, but this smacks of a conservative version of "Fahrenheit 911" and other efforts by Michael Moore that pander to a host of disenchanted, angry voters. I'm not a fan of Obama by ANY stretch of the imagination, and I am very concerned about the effect his actions will have on our country. I just don't know if a right-wing pseudodocumentary is what we need. Oh, and it's also got a built-in audience who will pay to hear other people tell them what they already believe. I commend the filmmaker's passion and I agree that the media is absurdly biased, but I don't see this reaching out to anyone. I think it will be a lot of "preaching to the choir". Of course, I haven't seen the film, but that's the impression the trailer gives me. I am happy to be wrong about this, as I think the events need to be documented, and the bias addressed, but it hardly appears to be an impartial or objective effort, which is what real historians need to be. |

I actually think it will reach a lot of the "swing voters", especially once the ONE starts really fucking up and they start to get buyers remorse. Once? I am personally amazed at how much he has been able to screw up already in only his first month on the job. |
