I had one. The Shepard mix in my avatar.

She was stolen from my yard about 3 weeks ago.

Will get another soon. Most likely a much more aggressive male.

I want the next scumbag to feel some pain.

ETA: Post 187 which is what I would like to see happen

to anyone low enough to steal someone`s pet.

We just dont have the room .
I want to build a pen for a pair , so if we put them outside they can run around a bit , but we have such a small house as it is and three great cats .....so for now it's a no.

I'd like to have one, but I'm not home enough to take care of one.

Poor little guy would be home by himself 16+ hours per day, and that just ain't right.

Two. A lab mix and a wire haired fox terrier. Don't ask about cats though because I have 10. I don't want to look like a crazy cat lady type. Most of those are barn cats though.

Apparently, after doing some research my wife found that it is becoming more and more common now.

These scumbags steal a dog and either wait for a reward to be offered or sell it on craigslist

by charging a "rehoming fee". Another by-product of the recession is an increase in criminal activity.

I'd love to have a GSD, but I don't have one. With my long hours, I wouldn't have the time to give a pet, and that wouldn't be fair to the dog.

Maybe someday, though.

We had three dogs all aquirerd at the same time. They all made it to 15-16 years old and all passed away in a 1 year time frame. It took a while to get another dog but Sally is now about 18 mos old.

We have 4.

German Shepherd, Basengi type mutt and two chihuhuas.

4 is the maximum number of dogs I think I could stand. Luckily 2 of ours are little chihuhuas... if we had 4 GSD's stomping around the house I would probably go insane.

We had three until my son moved back in. Now we have four.
My 8 year old Papillon. The early warning system. Always hears stuff before the other dogs.

My son's three year old American Pit Bull Terrier. Great dog. Likes everybody.

ETA: She's a rescue from a shelter. My son was volunteering there. He got her free.
