A bud just gave me a near new pair of mil boots.. He used them for parade & inspection. They are spit shined & have some kind of floor wax on them. He left before I could ask him how to strip these, just want to buff em black & use for work...Any suggestions???

we used saddle soap and rubbing alcohol during basic training to strip boots of old layers of wax.
