I've got three done, one to go. One was decently easy, even though I could have skipped it and still ended up with a B in the class. Next one I did alright on, last nights was easy, and tonights will probably be easy as well. Plus, I get to cash my books in today, so I'll have a little bit of $$$$. |

Finals are AWESOME. I got out of academia after teaching for several years and now I neither have to study for finals, nor, more importantly, GRADE finals. I am convinced I worked harder as a faculty member than I ever did as a student. This finals week (in celebration of my first full year out of academia) I have played softball, golf, gone shooting, and had some beer. This rules. shooter |
You know, I had the same experience. An A- in Art and Music (a subject I normally excel at), a B in Algebra (I still dont understand that one) and a C in Organic Chem (which was the first time I took it. Normal average for first time Orgo students is a D to an F). But, I REALLY busted my ass and didnt slack on much, so I cant understand why my GPA went down to a 3.6.... |

They don't "treat" me any more...that was many years ago. However...when I took my finals, I was generally pretty ready. If you are ready, then the last few days are a grape and relatively stress free. The key is to start studying on day one of the class and to begin preps for your paper on the same day. Wait...and you are doomed.  |
