I recently built an entry level AR pistol on the cheap. 7.5 barrel, no name rail & buffer tube, light weight upper with no FA/dust cover.
Cheap $40 laser, no sights. I had a lot of the parts in my parts bin. Fella I know had a minty Winchester 94 Ranger 30/30. Looked like it was unfired. He said he shot it twice. He wanted $450 for it. I was looking for a 94 to have rebored to 38/55. It was nice but I thought he was a little high. He dropped to $400 & I asked him if he would consider a trade. I traded him the AR pistol for it, a Bulldog 42 inch AR case, & a box of 30/30's. I kept the AIM BCG out of it for a rifle build I'm working on. I'm pretty happy with it. Now to ship it off to JES for the rebore. Hessian-1
