I went to a gun show Sat and picked up a E T G XP-6E tactical flash light with a laser sight for my AR. I was wondering how you guys attach the microswitch to the front grip. I was going to try and glue it but wonder if glue would keep it in place and not fall off just when you need it.

most vert grips have a slot you can pop out the filler plastic and that pressure switch will slide down into it.

bicycle innertube - and I have attached them with electrical tape wrapped around in the past without issues.

I'd glue a velcro strip to the VFG and velcro it to the grip before I glued it permanently...

I asume you are saying cut a piece of inertube the length of the grip and slide it over the grip holding the switch in place?

Yep.

A too small diameter tube will keep your pressure switch activated, there was a thread here a while back with what size tube worked on popular grips.

This is why us REAL OPERATORS order the extra-large SHRINK TUBE, and then only shrink the area that is not by the switch.
