Like the Title states, I have a Westel 327W Router for a home network. I've lost the password and cannot access the internet from my laptop. How do I reset the Router? Thanks!

Turn off computer. Unplug router. Count to 60. Plug back in. Wait for lights to come on. Turn on computer.

If you need a hard reset its a different story. There should be a button on the back that you can access with a pen for a hard reset but you'll have to reconfigure the router which can be complicated. Do it only as a last resort.

okay. So if It resets everything. What will the password for the router be? I remember it started as something on the box.. Which isn't good because I dont have the box.

It depends on what brand your router is.

Dlink is admin for user id and blank (nothing in the password field) for password

Linksys I think is blank for user id and admin for password

Check your manual to be sure though.
