It's just under 20 miles one way but ATL Traffic is so horrid I can leave an hour early in morning traffic (7am) and get to work in 30 mins , but afternoon traffic (5pm) is an hour to an hour and a half.
Sometimes 2 hours on a Friday.

Mine is about 30 seconds, my wife's is 52 miles each way which usually takes 45 mins in the morning and between 1hr15mins and 3hrs in the evening.

65+ minutes. One bus then two trains. That's if all goes well with the DC Metro system. I expect at least one major delay (30+ minutes) a week. Train breakdowns, track troubles, communication issues, suicides, etc. all slow it down.

One major delay a week on MARC? Jeez.

On the VRE we've had like five total in the year I've been taking it. One for tracks being washed out, one for a CSX Hazmat carrying train breakdown, two suspicious packages, and one I can't remember why.
