have you put on your bike this year?

I started with 6k from last year on my sportster, wound that up to almost 17,000.
Traded in said bike in August and have less than 3000 on my spankin' new FXDL

So I rode about 14,000 miles this year so far. Not too bad for Maine weather and 50+ hours work a week.

in the 9 months i've had it i've only put about 3000 miles on it but then again it was taken apart for about 2 months and in SA TX its rained abut 4 months straight but i don't like riding unless the weather is nice

Between the 4 bikes I have registered I have not quite 11k so far this year. 1200 of them were in a 60 hour period when I rode to WV and putted around for a day then back to NH. (My first real test of the 06 Goldwings touring ability, loved it)

I put 3k on a ride from Maine to the Blue Ridge Parkway and West Virginia the last week of July. WV and the BRP are definitely calling my name for next season. That is some fine country.

I usually run 8-10,000 miles per year, I have over 300,000 total miles on motorcycles.

In '97 I bought a new Yamaha YZF 600.

I was stationed in Corpus Christi, and had a apt in Houston which is where my wife was going to school (college).

Every weekend (and several times during the week) I would make the 3 - 3 1/2 hour ride from Corpus to Houston on Friday, and then back on Sunday night.

In 13 months, I put 116,000 miles (and about 10 speeding tickets) on that bike.

There were also several trips to San Antonio and a couple to New orleans, but for the most part, it was all back and forth to Houston.

Once my wife moved down to Corpus I parked the bike for almost a year and ended up giving to my best friend in CA.

I will never again buy a crotch rocket and use it to ride long distances.

Probably somewhere around 6,000 so far.  I'm surprised I have even that many as I work 10-12 hour days and, up until two months ago, my office was less than 3 miles from my house.

Well, the Aprilia got about 5k miles, the ZX-9 about 3k, and the ZX-6 got about 2,500 or so all at the track.  I don't commute so those are all pleasure miles.

They're all pleasure miles

I don't know, I was bike only for eight years and can remember some miles that weren't so pleasurable. Hearing lightning through your helmet and not being able to see much of where you were heading and flooded roads weren't all that much fun on a sportbike.  Shoulda got a KLR.

Got my KLR in August this year and it went from 0 to 1200 in 3 months.

I love the beast

I normally have fun so long as it's above freezing.

I put between 3-5,000 miles on my bike each year.

I bought my Goldwing in may.  I have 3,500 miles on it now.  Looks like I'll be going over my 5,000 mile mark this year.

I've got about 8500 miles this year so far.  Not a whole lot of riding season left up here, but I'm squeezing it for all it's worth!    About 4500 was done on my Seca II (which I recently sold) and the rest on my EX250.
