Only took 2-3 minutes to get the boat up on-step.

There's over 5,000# in the boat.

Rifle is a 45/70.

Wouldn't believe me with how many moose were gotten.

That was the second blackie gotten at camp.

He was trying to get the moose on the rack.

Sadly the area where they were gotten went down the tubes not long after do to bear/wolf predation.

It's still recovering.

I'd sure love to hear that story one day. I doubt I ever get to hunt moose - because given the finances I'd always choose elk, after having doen it once and loving it - but I'd love to hear the story.

Damn, that bear ate your face.

I worked for a guy years ago who hunted up in AK one summer.  (he had a buudy who ran a guide service near lake Illiamna (sp?)  ANyways, he got a møøse.  About 3 wks later several FedEx packages arrived at his place one afternoon.  Twas the møøse.  That was the best damn eating I've ever had.  I've been jonesing to shoot a møøse ever since.
