I know there are some serious athletes in GD. I have seen the pics.

what's your story? 3/4 times a week at the gym?

I go 1hr, 4x a week before work.

About an hour per week. I hate my job.

alas, I need to start eating better if I want to get the results I am hoping for

Not enough.  Was hitting the weights pretty hard this summer.  Since fall hit I have been too busy to stay consistent.

Did hit my goal of 315 on the bench (Can do the same with squats and deads).

It varies from week to week, but I range from 3 to 5 days a week for an 1hr to 1.5 hrs.  My average is probaly 3.5 times a week for just a touch over an hour.

3x per week.  About 45 min.  Once I start getting more sleep I plan on upping that.
12/2/2009 5:20:32 PM EDT
[#9]
Every other day, plus skipping a day every 3 weeks.

It only takes between 30 and 45 minutes to complete my routine.  I don't do cardio, as my job requires me to run around all day as it is.
12/2/2009 5:21:09 PM EDT
[#10]
4x-6x a week for 30-70 minutes each time.  Sometimes I go 2x a day, doing cardio early in the morning before breakfast and then go back for weights in the afternoon.
12/2/2009 5:21:27 PM EDT
[#11]
I swim whenever I think about it.

If you count the amount I walk around campus that's a few miles a day of walking.

2x a week, 50 mins heavy duty aerobic, either mountain biking, x-country skiing, hiking, etc...   Should do more, but this is MUCH better than nothing, and did bring my BP and cholestorol down when I started years ago.
12/2/2009 5:22:19 PM EDT
[#13]
I go every morning at 6am and do both strength and cardio for an hour or more, Monday - Friday
12/2/2009 5:22:21 PM EDT
[#14]
One hr 3-4X per week.

This has been over the last 3 months. Prior to that I had been a slug for a few years.

Every time I've re-started exercise throughout my life I've asked myself why I ever stopped, since it makes me feel so good.

Depending on my schedule 6 days a week, twice a day during the work week.  Some weeks (like the one coming up) are shot due to field time.

I have been crazy lazy lately, but I walk about 1-2 miles a day and do push ups and barbell curls 2-3 days a week.  New years resolution is to start taking Krav Maga

Generally between 3-5 times a week depending on work schedule.

Twice a day 5 days a week.

In the mornings for 45 min or 1 hour depending on how lazy I am, and 30 min. at lunch.

I'm getting old, and not willing to go quietly.

Every weeknight, situps, pushups, curls bi and tri, sidebends, dips, bench, pullups, chinups. No matter how tired, I feel much better afterward.

I lift 4 days per week.  Then do sled drags and other GPP work twice a week this time of year, 3 or 4 times a week in spring when it's time to lean up a bit.

I worked out once in high school, decided it wasn't for me.

I move 1,000lb automotive lift runways a couple of times a month this completes the heavy workout portion.

During the summer evenings I compliment this with 16oz curls and repeat as necessary.

Three or four times a year.

2x daily.

Up at 3:30am for an hour of vigorous activity.  Usually resistance/circuit training.

Typically runs or swims in the afternoons.

Not as often as I should or would like. Currently averaging twice a week for about 30 min. Either running or on an elliptical.
12/2/2009 5:30:31 PM EDT
[#30]
Two miles on the treadmill then about an hour on various machines, every week day.

Saturday and Sunday I spend undoing everything I did during the week.

Not nearly enough, although I have to gain muscle, not lose fat.
12/2/2009 5:30:59 PM EDT
[#32]
I exercise every other day for about an hour which includes running between 1.5 to 3 miles (about 7 minutes a mile is an easy jog), doing 5 sets of 30 pushups, and as many crunches in a minute.
12/2/2009 5:32:40 PM EDT

about 1hr. 30 mins to 1hr 45mins every other day

I don't enjoy the gym so much, and I'm not bulked up, but i like to excercise.

I ride a bike about 16 miles/day to work every day, including thru the winter.
I kayak a couple hours two or three times a week from april to october.  This
year I moved by hand 24 tons of gravel and dirt  and stacked 7 tons of limestone
(several times) .   I go for 10 mile unicycle rides periodically.  The landscaping
got in the way of much  bike/yak/uni this year.

6 days a week.
12/2/2009 5:35:37 PM EDT
[#36]
Every summer.
12/2/2009 5:36:09 PM EDT
[#37]
Lately I've been doing 100 push ups, 25 4 count flutter kicks, 25 4 count bicycles and 25 reverse crunches before bed every night.

Running isn't much of an option right now. I already get up at 0300 to 0600 hrs depending on the day and when I get home its dark out. I'm sleep deprived enough as it is.

When I'm not in school and I have time I do the PT routine above in the morning and at night along with pull ups until fatigue and my cycling of running or ruck "marching".

I run 10 miles, run 3 miles the next day to "rest", ruck (jog/speed walk) 35 lbs 15 miles the next day, then run 5 miles the next day and repeat.

I started this PT routine late this summer after deciding being able to max the APFT consistently without much difficulty might be vital to my future.

4-5 days a week after work for 1-1.5 hrs.
12/2/2009 5:45:14 PM EDT
[#39]
6 times a week, 45 minutes each, all I can get with two kids (1 & 3 years old), a working wife and a job I need to keep.  5 of the days are in the gym with freeweights, the 6th is punishing myself at home (lunges, ab wheel, etc).
12/2/2009 5:45:56 PM EDT
[#40]
I run seven days a week and lift weights every other day. Lost 80 pounds in 3 years. I have a 32 inch waist and weigh around 170 pounds. Not bad for a old guy that just turned 38.

When I have time. Work has been crunching my lunch break into nothingness lately.

(cant go after work cause you cant even turn around in there with so many people there)

I spend about 6 hours per week working out
