| Yes they did get smart. They have three major proposals right now; AWB, Std cap mags and universal background checks. But they are really using the first two to find a compromise on the third. So called universal background checks is NOT expanded NICS. There is a new DATABASE and every single weapon transfer must be recorded including to your kids. There is a fee aka tax on every single weapon. There is no just fill out the form and show your CHL, that will no longer be good to go. Please call or write everyone and say NO on universal background checks. |
| Yeap, all former gun control advocates are now fervent 2nd amendment advocates. Heller changed the landscape. This is the entire Obama approach BTW- the "I'm one of you but there's one small problem with our position that I strongly feel needs to be addressed..." approach. |
