I want to send e-mails in my handwriting. Do any of you do this? If so, what's the best software/graphics tablet to do it with that will be compatible with Outlook Express?
Just to clarify: When somebody opens an e-mail from me, I want them to see it written in my handwriting, not converted to text. |

Email that consists of nothing but one big image is going to be marked as spam by a lot of email clients and spam filters. You could also include the same text you wrote in the email so if the recipient later wanted to search for something you sent them by keyword they could find it.
Years ago I used a Wacom tablet and you could write with it pretty easily with some practice. The biggest problem with writing on a tablet is that you can't see what you wrote on the surface of the tablet. They make these pens now that write on paper that save what you wrote in memory in the pen, and you can then download what you wrote as pdf. That would probably be your best bet. Quoted: Quoted: Write email on paper. Scan paper. Email as image file or PDF. This or you can make a font of your handwriting. Edit: If you provide me with a sample sheet of your handwriting and some incentive, I'll make a handwriting font for you. only works if everyone downloads his font as well. |
