I'm looking for a brief tutorial on quoting other members in a post. I can handle a single quote but I would like to figure out the 'advanced quoting'. I tried a search and didnt come up with much. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance, |

Quoted:
Just started using it and I still cant figure it out. I see some posts that have multiple quotes all neatly organized and easy to follow. That is what I would like to do. Thanks Are you trying to break up a long post into smaller blocks so you can address each? Move the /quote tag to the end of the first block. Then highlight/select the next block and click on the '' button on the left of the Insert Tags. Then insert your text between the blocks. It's not difficult, just tedious. Working with nested quotes is harder; you'll just have to mess with it and use the Preview option until you figure it out. One thing to remember is that when you delete a quote tag you have to remove the matching /quote or the sequencing will get totally bitched up. Jane |
