I just had a lady drop off a laptop. taped to it are all of her username and passwords for all of the websites she visits. she has 2 credit cards numbers with the security codes also... i guess im just paraniod, because i've never even written one of my password down |

Not that trusting. I've given out my gunsafe code to family members for use in emergencies, but that's the extent of it. I have some userIDs and passwords saved in a safe location, since quite a few of them are variations, and can get confusing. No where that another person can access them, though. |
you and me better hope we don't get knocked over the head pretty hard |
So you're saying I'm not getting that new soft ice cream machine for the office? |
| I am currently in desktop support for an internet company, and one of our VP's gave me her laptop to fix, I open it up, and there is a sticky note w/ her Domain password that she provided to me. Keep in mind that our permissions for certain shares, etc are given thru active directory. Someone with that info could have done quite a bit of damage with that little sticky. |
That's sig material there. I personally trust no one. I maintain a list of passwords for various sites. I have to, I use a different password [and usually different username] for every site. If you use the same username/password combo for various sites, you are a fool. Of course, if the list compromised, I'm fucked. Cache points...only I know the locations. Lock combos...only I know the combos. If I die and someone wants something, call a fucking locksmith. |
That's probably his ex-wife's Visa number. |

I was wondering if you had a cancelled card and gave out the number in this thread exactly how many hits it would get.
