| I have just returned from fish camp and I am the loudest and proudest member of the fightin Texas Aggie class of 2012. AHHHHHHHHHHH. Texas A&M is truly one of the greatest universities in the country and I cannot wait for gig em week to start. I am sure we have many Aggies on this website because the A&M network is second to none. So thanks and gig em. |
if by none you mean the US military's network, then ok. but college is like highschool, only more expensive. it 'teaches' you stuff, but dosnt prepare you for the real world. have fun. |

I was born in Austin and I've lived here my whole life. I am, and always will be, a Longhorn fan because of that. I used to make fun of Aggies, because that's how we roll here. My best friend left to go to A&M a few years ago. After visiting him in College Station, I don't make fun of aggies any more. When comparing A&M with UT, it's obvious who has the better "stock". Them aggie girls are a beautiful bunch. I feel like a kid in a candy store every time I go to College Station. UT.... not so much. Not to mention all the liberal BS going on at the UT campus. Gig 'em! |
Howdy. Class of '08(ish), College of Engineering. Whats your major? Hmm, we should have an Aggie Range Day with as many people as there are local. |
|
Texas Tech 1972 here. I've always admired the Aggies for their absolutely unflinching adherance to tradition. You are entering a brotherhood that will last a lifetime. I've always thought that the Ags neld a stronger loyalty to their school and team than other colleges. Anyone who has ever been down on Kyle Field knows how intimidating (and loud) it can be. |

Which Dept specfically? I'm an MMET. Prepare to be raped by the beginning Cal classes , I would recommend A+ Tutoring (off of University behind the McDonalds) and Amy Austin's Math Lectures. They help greatly, as a lot of the professors in the weedout courses suck.

Two aggies are walking through the park and see a dog licking his balls. The first aggie says "I wish I could do that," to which the second aggie replies "me too, but he'd probably bite me." Really though, I work with a bunch of aggies(and work for one), they're cool. |
They brainwash you until you come out redass. I kid I kid, I made some good friends there to help me get through the first year. To the OP, skip out on the Chicken, anyplace that charges $2.25 for a glass of pearl doesn't get my business. Oh, and make sure to participate in silver taps, muster, and get drunk and go to yell practice. What dorm are you in? |

I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome Mike Goodson is http://blog.kir.com/archives/images/Goodsen%20taking%20off.gif |

Spent three days in Aggie-land while the small animal hospital took great care of my English Bulldog. Got to see Bush Library/Museum, got to see Blue Bell with a peronal tour by Jim Kruse (heir to Blue Bell). He is married to my wife's cousin. Great people. Also, I've been to numerous Rudy's, but the one at CS was among the top 3. |
Class of 2012 here too! Do you live in CS or are coming in from out of town? |
Born and raised in Gregg County. Can't say the place excites me. Good luck with that, you should have plenty of time to study since there isn't much to distract your time. I think they finally got a starbucks or two Have fun in Whiskey Bend I got accepted to A&M...but chose the better path. Hook'em! (I felt dirty when I applied) You guys have it all wrong about the Liberals in Austin. We gotta stick together and "breed'em out" The only thing that pisses me off about Aggies, is that some of the morons drink too much of the punch. Most are good folks, and quickly align with the real-world...but some of them just fall off the wagon. Not sure what makes this happen, but I've run into a few of them. |
They actually sent out an email locally explaining why they did that because they were getting made fun of. Apparently they didn't want to drill into the window frames because they were expensive, so they did that instead. I dunno.

I have been waiting a long time to use this on an Aggie posting.
