Anyone still watching this show on Discovery? I saw the first episode and thought it was interesting but forgot about it since then. Just saw a commercial for it and it looks like they went full retard with the drama, exactly what most Arfcommers were worried about. Looks like I won't waste my time with it.

I started watching it and was pretty put off by the drama they throw in.  They scream that they only have one week to get it done or they are out of business constantly all while the employees in the background are trying not to laugh.  Being a part time fabricator myself, I am NOT impressed with their skills or quality of work.....really have to wonder about the military interest in anything but the concept.

It'd be interesting w/o the drama. The whole "ZOMFG we have to ship by xxxx or else!" shtick is not entertaining.

Moar tracked vehicles, less drama.

No shit!

When I first saw the ripsaw concept on youtube, I thought "BADASS".

Now that I have seen how they build stuff, I am very much unimpressed. They make the clowns from OCC look like actual fabricators by comparison.

Welding, bitching, complaining about each other, fake deadlines.............YAWN.

The formula has been played out. I think this show and swamp loggers will be the end of all this crap.

Mike on Dirty Jobs will make it because he doesn't do the 'drama' shit.

I like the ideas, they have some good ones, but the welding is just horrible.  But its typical of shops like that, full of kids that have no real skills, just building a "steel tree fort" if you ask me.

The one kid was welding aluminum, and you could see all the aluminum vapor from a contaminated tungsten all over the welds. Amature hour for sure.

The owners have some real good skills I think. Hand building tracks and so on. If they concentrated on the engineering that goes into these instead of the yelling, they would have a great show.

I've seen the show a few times and it's alright.  Where the build and film is something like 20 minutes from my house.  Kinda neat.

God I hope so.  I'm so sick of the "OCC format".
