My dog won't stop humping my arm. I'm laying here on the couch relaxing and on the computer and for the last hour he has been trying to hump my arm non stop. I push him off and then he re thinks his attack plan and tries again. Any idea for his attraction to my arm?

spray bottle -  soapy water - eyes (his, not yours)  Humping is a habit pattern, you need to teach him that the act is not acceptable.

I'v never had a dog that did that, but I agree with the above posted. Water, or cut your arm off. either way It will stop in the end.

I agree with Kallnojoy.  Sounds to me that your pup is demonstrating his dominance over you.  Pack order is all out of whack.  Is he still a puppy?  Maybe 8 mos. to 2 years?

I would try giving him a short, sharp vocal correction, and as soon as he stops, praise him.  The idea is to redirect his attention and reward the positive behavior.  his
If he has never been aggressive, another option would be to very calmly lay him down, and establish dominance that way.  This is extremely controversial because SOOOOOO many people misconstrue the message, and a lot of dogs will lash out when challenged.  Aggression begets aggression so it is imperative that you are calm and relaxed whichever route you take.

Of course the best bet in the long run would be to get a trainer before things escalate.  In my area, I like Bark Busters.  They are firm but fair.  :)

Good luck!

He's 3 1/2. Seems to be doing the days I leave to go back to my apartment at college.

+1. Work on establishing yourself as alpha. Dogs are natural followers. Don't let him think he's in charge

Punch him in the balls every time. He'll get the idea real quick.

Our FEMALE did this for a while...  It was funny to watch but we put an end to it by swatting her when she would start up..  I think it was some sort of dominance thing with her..  But watching a female trying to hump another dog is hilarious!

I have rats that do this (actually a picture of it on page 7 of the picture thread). As far as rats are concerned, a female might mimic a male's behavior by humping another female as a way of establishing herself as alpha. I don't see why it would be different for dogs.
You're right, though. It is hilarious to watch
