I'm looking at picking up some floor mats for my recently acquired 2005 Chevy Tahoe. Looking to do the front and second row, mine doesn't have 3rd row.
Both seem to have a warranty. And both are offered in the color I need. Are the Weather Tech mats that much better? |

Had WT in my last 4-5 vehicles. They do a great job. Perfect fit.
The single issue I had with them was with my Wrangler. The front ones clipped in to the front floor fine. The back ones just laid over the back posts and didn't clip to anything (lazy engineering ). They wanted to take off flying if I had the rear doors removed at 20+ MPH. |
| I've had WT mats in several trucks for many years. I bought two sets for the last two new trucks in 2015, and wasn't happy with either set. They seem to be thinner, and curl up in the corners. The company's response was pull them out and curl them backwards. WTF, I'm suppose to do that every other week. I'll be buying Husky for now on. |
| I just bought a set of these, a little nicer than the husky/WT offerings. http://www.ariesautomotive.com/category/321/StyleGuard%20Floor%20Liners |

| i have a set of huskys in my 16' F-150, they hold up great and do well at holding the water from snowy boots. That said they replaced a set of WT's i had in there temporarily from a 1996 Explorer that were purchased in 1996. Weather Tech makes awesome stuff, husky was the right price. |
| I have owned both, Weather tech and Husky. My wife has her weather tech still as well. I like the Husky they are a little more flexible so I can take them in and out easier to clean and contain whatever the mess is within them. Weather tech you had to really be careful moving them or the mess would go everywhere, but I think it all depends on vehicle you have for ease of removal to clean or empty contents without getting inside your vehicle. |
| We have the Weathertech ones in the wife's Traverse and they are 110% pure garbage. The 2nd/3rd row isn't awful (it's just a big flat piece with cut outs for the seats) but the front driver and passenger ones aren't even close to fitting right. They stick up so far over the sill that it catches your foot when you step in, there's a 3" or so gap around the kick panels, and when you move the seats forward it catches the mat and curls it up. |

I put the soft rubber Huskys in my new F150. They are more comfortable, easier to clean and fit better than the WTs we have in the wife's Honda. The Huskys hold their shape much better than the WTs. I've been using WTs for over fifteen years, but there's no comparison between the Husky's in my Tundra and the WTs in my wife's Outback. Husky's from here on. |

Go on the forums and look at what the 2 brands look like in a 2005 style Tahoe. The coverage varies from model to model between the two brands. Some have retaining lips, some dump fluid out over the sill.
ETA: I had Huskys in my XJ, WT in my 1st gen Tundra, and Huskys in my 2nd gen tundra. No brand loyalty, just bought what had better coverage. |

I've always like WT's over Husky liners, just a personal preference. I've had them in every vehicle I've owned with absolutely no complaints. I have had them in every vehicle we have owned (that they made them for - KIA Forte N/A) and they have always held up great. Our 2007 Honda Pilot had them in it for 9-1/2 years (125K) and they were scuffed but still worked as they should have. |
