I'm looking at picking up some floor mats for my recently acquired 2005 Chevy Tahoe. Looking to do the front and second row, mine doesn't have 3rd row.
Both seem to have a warranty. And both are offered in the color I need.
Are the Weather Tech mats that much better?

I have the Husky in my F150 and they have been fine for 3+ years. Id buy whichever has the best price.

I've always like WT's over Husky liners, just a personal preference. I've had them in every vehicle I've owned with absolutely no complaints.

Husky, Weather tech are too stiff. Difficult to remove.

Had WT in my last 4-5 vehicles. They do a great job. Perfect fit.

The single issue I had with them was with my Wrangler. The front ones clipped in to the front floor fine. The back ones just laid over the back  posts and didn't clip to anything (lazy engineering ). They wanted to take off flying if I had the rear doors removed at 20+ MPH.

I've had WT mats in several trucks for many years.  I bought two sets for the last two new trucks in 2015, and wasn't happy with either set.  They seem to be thinner, and curl up in the corners.  The company's response was pull them out and curl them backwards.  WTF, I'm suppose to do that every other week.  I'll be buying Husky for now on.

I have Husky and like them. Never owned Weathertech.

I have husky and would buy again.   Purchased based on the reviews that stated the weather tech were too stiff and hard to remove for cleaning.

I just bought a set of these, a little nicer than the husky/WT offerings. http://www.ariesautomotive.com/category/321/StyleGuard%20Floor%20Liners

I got a set of Husky molded floor liners for my son's truck.

The plastic felt like a cheap tupperware knockoff.  Maybe they make other better products, but these sucked.

I'm used to Rugged Ridge mats in my Wrangler.  Those things are awesome.

I was always pleased with my older weathertechs but this latest pair in my f150 are experiencing some curling too

I have a pair of Huskys in my 04 F150 for last 12 years.  still going strong.

i have a set of huskys in my 16' F-150, they hold up great and do well at holding the water from snowy boots.  That said they replaced a set of WT's i had in there temporarily from a 1996 Explorer that were purchased in 1996.  Weather Tech makes awesome stuff, husky was the right price.

I have owned both, Weather tech and Husky.  My wife has her weather tech still as well.  I like the Husky they are a little more flexible so I can take them in and out easier to clean and contain whatever the mess is within them.  Weather tech you had to really be careful moving them or the mess would go everywhere, but I think it all depends on vehicle you have for ease of removal to clean or empty contents without getting inside your vehicle.

It looks like a full set of each comes in at about  $180. I think I'll order the Husky ones.

Husky X-act fits are superior to WTs.

I have both, and have for years.

Husky's all day.

I went with the classic, since they didnt have X-act for my model year

Flip a coin. Both are good. Sometimes one company is better than another for a specific vehicle.

I've had both and now I'm a weather tech fan I always seem to catch my foot on the lip on the huskys getting in and out of the truck

What he said. I had WT in my wrangler, now have husky in my F-150. The husky are a little bit more rubber feel. Like them way better

I ditched the weather techs mats and upgraded to husky liners. Very happy with them. No problems with an entire soccer team of 10yos after a rainy game in my brand new vehicle

We have the Weathertech ones in the wife's Traverse and they are 110% pure garbage. The 2nd/3rd row isn't awful (it's just a big flat piece with cut outs for the seats) but the front driver and passenger ones aren't even close to fitting right. They stick up so far over the sill that it catches your foot when you step in, there's a 3" or so gap around the kick panels, and when you move the seats forward it catches the mat and curls it up.

I bought the WTs for my 4Runner.

I got them for $150 new, so it was an easy choice.

I really like them, however.

After using both in several different vehicles int he past, I have settled on Husky's. They both fit very well, but the Huskys are a softer formula and seem to to settle in better after a few days in a hot vehicle.

I put the soft rubber Huskys in my new F150.

They are more comfortable, easier to clean and fit better than the WTs we have in the wife's Honda.

The Huskys hold their shape much better than the WTs.

Yup. The rubber X-act fits fit, well.......exactly.

I've been using WTs for over fifteen years, but there's no comparison between the Husky's in my Tundra and the WTs in my wife's Outback.

Husky's from here on.

I just got the Husky X-act Contour front and back mats for our Grand Cherokee. They fit great, look good, and feel soft. We took it to Corolla today and they did a nice job containing the sand.

This, I've got WT in both of our nice vehicles and they fit great for the first year or so, then they start curling away from the sides. I've never had husky liners but I'm trying them next time!

I chose Husky's due to their lifetime warranty, vs. WT's 3-year warranty.  I'm glad I did...I really like mine so far.

Go on the forums and look at what the 2 brands look like in a 2005 style Tahoe.  The coverage varies from model to model between the two brands.  Some have retaining lips, some dump fluid out over the sill.

ETA: I had Huskys in my XJ, WT in my 1st gen Tundra, and Huskys in my 2nd gen tundra.  No brand loyalty, just bought what had better coverage.

I have always preferred the WeatherTech's over the Husky liners as well.

I have had them in every vehicle we have owned (that they made them for - KIA Forte N/A) and they have always held up great.

Our 2007 Honda Pilot had them in it for 9-1/2 years (125K) and they were scuffed but still worked as they should have.

I like the Husky liners. They have little spikes that grab on to the carpets.

My parents have WeatherTech and they tend to slide.

Huskys are a little cheaper too.

Either brand is better than carpet mats.
