Ordered the competition and ar range bags from midway.
Looked at the 511 version in person and was happy enough. My 15yr old uncle mikes bag will get retired. |

My LAPolice gear bag arrived today. Very well made bag!! Even bigger than I expected and has plenty of room in the center compartment for my spotting scope (the black bag) more ammo and other stuff. My old very well used NRA bag for comparison. This should serve me for many more years. The NRA bag often has 50 lbs of ammo and crap crammed into it!

I'll post a review of the 5.11 bag with some pics when I get home tonight. Very happy with it after a dozen or so range trips so far.

I use this for "light" Range days when all I am shooting is a couple of AR's or Bolt guns and dont wanna bring a rest/shooting bags.
Say what you want about voodoo but it does fine for what I need it for. Mine is black.  Attached FileI use this if I need to carry more or on IDPA/USPSA days.  Attached File |
