I agree it's been corrupted, but I don't see Christians claiming Christmas isn't Christian, although its modern celebration has even more tenuous roots.

You haven't looked too hard.

IMO, there are two distinct holidays. One of them is a 2d-tier Christian holiday. The other is a secular celebration of wealth and warm feelings. They happen to occur at the same time.

2nd tier?  How is our Saviours birth celebration a second tier holiday?

The conception and resurrection were miraculous, the birth seems kinda mundane in comparison, IMO.

I can more or less agree with that. Hard to get past it being 3 months and 4 or 5 years removed from the probable actual date of Jesus' birth, though. Much closer to yule, which I believe the current incarnation was adapted from.

While we celebrate it as our savior's birth, based on various contemporaneous accounts, it's very likely that Jesus was born in September of 4 or 5 BC, rather than December 25th of year 1. It's more likely that the early Roman Catholic Church usurped an existing pagan holy day already being celebrated and copy/pasted Christmas over the top of it somewhere in the neighborhood of 300AD under Emperor  Constantine.

Not likely, pretty well established fact. Romans did the Census in the fall after the harvest. Them pagans with their winter solstice was a pretty big deal and celebration, replace one celebration with another.

they took a perfectly good 7 stripe flag, with an all-encompasing rainbow representing literally everyone, and had to add colors to show races... now every fringe lunatic adds new symbols

I wonder how long it will be until the regular rainbow flag is labeled as a hate symbol because it's not inclusive of all the extras.

Believe as you will. I saw the research, and it's at least credible. There's even a scientific explanation behind the Star of Bethlehem. There are a number of Christian holidays that by complete coincidence, I'm sure, fell suspiciously close to existing holidays, but that's perhaps fodder for a different thread. Between holidays and whatnot, we're veering quite a ways from dank memes here.
