I’m a photographer and shoot video as part of my many duties at work. I enjoy it very much and I’ve been doing it for about 30 years. This is my first dslr shoulder rig and I’m digging it a lot. I know it looks heavy, but it’s really not. It’s actually well balanced. What you guys think?

Is something like that used in foul weather ?
If so how do you keep rain and snow from damaging it?

You should consider a remote zoom / focus for shoulder held work. Maybe a slot for a nd filter... Otherwise, pretty clean

It's main purpose is to capture a different FOV of the man camera as I shoot simultaneous. When I'm out in the field doing an inspection, filming destructive testing or accident reconstruction, the extra FOV footage always comes in handy in post production editing.

In my biz foul weather will always shut down the need to use a camera unless the shoot can be conducted indoors, away from harsh elements.

Thank you. It took me a while to purchase all the components and it wasn’t expensive at all. If this was an AR, it would be made by PSA. :)
