And they're having a hard time keeping up with orders.
Their full sized Omen rifles are suffering because so many parts are going towards building the Nightmare. It is absolutely ridiculous. It's almost like it's more of a flamethrower than a rifle. I forget what they told me the velocity is, but it is stupid slow. Not subsonic, but under 2k if I remember correctly. I've shot the Omen and it is freaky smooth, really fun to shoot. I've watched the Nightmare being shot quite a bit but turned down the offer to try it. I just wasn't interested in bothering with it. Nemo is just down the road from me and the guys there are really good dudes. |

I've got a 6.5 lb .300 win mag on a synthetic stock with a Mauser 98 action. It's good for humping the mountains, but the recoil is not the kindest on the shoulder.

So, running a quick simulation with GRT....
Load a 200 grain bullet with RL26 and the max velocity you can get with a 10.5" barrel is around 2230' MV. Me: not enough juice for the squeeze. Inner me: Fireball.

Someone had them build a 15" pistol barrel with one in 300 Win Mag for silhouette shooting and it worked quite well. I may be Customer #2 for one.
