When this family visited Yellowstone the last time, they left the Igloo on the back seat while they went for a short day hike.

The bears found it and marked the rear window with thie sticker as a sign to the bear clan the next time these people camp. It saves the bears a lot of time and they can cover the whole campground quicker because they can see at a glance which cars to hit.

That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.

Cop/cop's family.

In WA, I believe police have blue, sheriff's dept has green. State patrol had gold, but there was talk of changing it, so its present status is unknown.

A cynic would think that they're intended to elicit some 'professional discretion.'
