Hey Yall,
I just got an ipod touch and have not even opened the box! (early christmas present from the company

) Before i get things set up i wanted to get some recomendations on tips and tricks. ANything i should know? I have an ipod classic, but i still feel like a rookie!

Also what are the essential programs? any advise or shove in the right direction woulf be great!

I love mine. I have shit from Pandora and Rhapsody, to track what I eat, a few games, things to track my workouts at the gym. It's a neat little gadget.

I bought my son one for Christmas. Does it have to have an internet subscription to get the most use out of it?

If you're posting here I'm guessing you already have one.

If you're speaking of buying one for just the iPod... Nope.

Use either iTunes or the built-in WiFi (to your current network) to get applications from your current 'net connection.

He will love it. You can use any free wi-fi or home wireless network
