Got my first call from these IRS Scammers yesterday. Actually I got two yesterday.

The first one I saw the caller ID as, Mobile Caller 802-431-7XXX. I listen to it, laughed and filed a complaint with Do not call.

The second time I got the same info on the caller ID, Mobile Caller 802-431-7XXX. This time I called the number in the recording which matched the caller ID.

It was amazing.

No ROBO Receptionist like you would get at the real IRS.

No asking for English or Spanish.

No list of department with numbers to press.

Really. It was instant IRS representative (Scammer)all with foreign accent and that long distance background noise. I felt like I was back in time talking to people far far away.

Which I was.

He started of with his line of BS.

Scammer: Hi. I'm Mark at the IRS. I see here that you owe back taxes and penalties. (sound like middle east)

Me: How do you know that I owe the IRS. I already filed and received my check?

Scammer: Well. It says here that you owe us, and we need to get you to pay or you will go to jail.

Me: Do you even know who I am?

Scammer: It says here that you owe the IRS, and you can pay over the phone now to prevent having you arrested.

ME: Do you know my name?

Scammer: You either pay now or you will be arrested.

Me: First of all. You dont know my name. 2nd. You are a scammer, and a thieving piece of shit.

Scammer: You cannot talk to me that way. If you do not pay me now I will have you arrested.

Me: Maybe you did not understand me. You are not the IRS. You are a liar and a thief. You are dog shit to me.

Scammer: We will be over to arrest you ...

Me: F--- You shit head

I hung up.

Ass holes call up again this morning.

Should I call him back?

Call back. Put on speakerphone. Record with another device and post here for entertainment.

Suggestions:
Threaten to have him extra super arrested.
Just repeat everything he says.
Invite him to a party at your house, and be sure to describe the pineapple front door knocker and tell him about all the goats out back so he gets the right house.

You know get creative

Don't engage these scammers. Simply hang up on them.

They've been known to "swat" people that irritate them, by calling the police and pretending that there's a domestic violence incident at the mark's house. They have ways of making it appear that they're calling from your telephone number (spoofing).

They're hitting it hard this tax season. I left one on hold for 30 minutes yesterday while I was "looking for a pen and paper". Told another I was suing his mother for non-payment on services rendered.
