Well don't you love governments. I got news from my accountant today and I owe the .gov an extra 53 000$ That's on top of the 120 000$ they took from my part of my dad's pension fund wich I inherited.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() <Title edit. Don't drive on your roads, don't send your children to public school, don't have the military and police protect you, don't use electricity from the grid, don't eat subsidized food, and ESPECIALLY avoid Canada's vaunted socialized health care. You live in Canada. Deal with it. At least over here we have tax loopholes for estate planning. Anyone with money, who likes their family, should be responsible and contact an estate planning attorney. There are so many loopholes you wouldn't believe. $60,000 on an attorney to cut your tax rate in half through a complex layering of privately held entities is well worth the money. Not a lawyer. Do not take the above as legitimate legal advice. |
Uh... I don't think he was kidding.....

Thanks! Next time I'm reborn, I'll remember to chose a better host country before popping out of a random woman's womb!

I suppose now would be a bad time to tell you that I hardly paid any inheritance taxes from the estates of my parents and my uncle. That might change if the Democrats win the White House back. But by then I won't have anyone to inherit anything from. Unless another Howard Hughes will shows up....
|
Well I'm happy for you, because the .gov has a big dick, and it hurts when they decide to rape you |
Why do I have a feeling your country has a decent number of estate planning attorney. Where there are laws, there are loopholes (and the lawyers who find them) |
|
agreed fuck all socialists everywhere... fuck paying taxes so some pos can sit back drink beer and collect welfare. have you talked to a tax lawyer yet? see if theres a way you can either contest the assessment or somehow defer paying it? eh you changed the title..why worried that "CCRA Ass Raped you" as a title might scare them away?
|
Well I guess I'm lucky to still have an account here because it wasn't me that changed the title ![]() No haven't talked to a tax lawyer yet, just got the news like 2 hours ago, or whenever it was that I created this thread. |
yeah contest it, get a tax specialist lawyer and get ready for a very long wait... perhaps you can get it lowered or deferred... CCRA is a bunch of fukin commies...the less you deal with them..they happier you will feel... They can be exceptionally rude to you and theres not much you can do about it...I hate petty little burocrats... Good luck |

If your dad had a life policy to offset the tax losses or perhaps had a trust then this wouldn't be an issue. You should be consulting with a financial advisor to take care of this for yourself. People forget about estate taxes and they will rape you if you aren't set up right. RR |
Thanks, my blood pressure was starting to come down

Ask them for a kiss when they get done screwing you!!!!!!!!!! |
