[ARCHIVED THREAD] - I.E. question

I use Internet Explorer (not sure which version), and whenever I type a web address a menu with similar addresses drops down below it. I was wondering if there is a way to turn it off or delete it because the damn thing is so long now that it is no longer useful. I delete my history and my temp files, but it is still there. What can I do?

Not sure that this will work, but:

Under tools, select Internet Options
Under the Advanced tab, under Browsing, uncheck "use inline autocomplete. . . "

Lemme know if this works.

its autocomplete, in internet explorer go to tools / internet options / content, and then turn autocomplete off.
