Enjoy it but not too much. 10 years from now it will seem like yesterday.
If you don't have a job, look at something that is not affected much by the economy. If I had it to do over again I would be a dentist. If someone is in pain, they will put off everything else to fix it. |

Nice. Go to college now. Don't let the uncultured, uneducated and resentful people on this site talk you out of it. Also, college is more interesting, more educational, and more fun than high school. Win/win. ETA: Military works too. Then go to college. You'll be in a far better position to get good grades than most due to maturity, you'll be covered by the GI bill, and many college chicks find buff former army guys appealing. Still win/win. ETA2: Thank you for your commitment to serve, and stay safe! |

He went active duty 2 years ago and took one trip to the sandbox IIRC he is an E-5 now. |
