I was going to ask if you got a manual for it, but after looking at it a bit, the controls are very intuitive. It should work just fine.

My point is, (since I know you're not a *complete* and total moron), if you're going to blow $80 for $8 worth of electronic parts, you should give it to somebody who isn't lying his ass off to you.

So, once you go back in time, where do you plug the device in to come back to the present?

Yes, but you're not stupid (well, except for doing the internet equivalent of lighting $80 on fire). Why not just head to Radio Shack, buy a project enclosure, some switches and some potentiometers, and make something that looks cool yourself?

Oh, I wouldn't be surprised if he actually parted with $80. I know he knows it won't work, but I do have a hunch he can actually be talked into forking over $80 for the hell of it (and a future entertaining thread).

You got ripped off.  That isn't a time travel device.  It's a device for clairvoyance.

The witness hole - where that crystal is - is for you to put something that represents the person, place, or thing that you want to view clairvoyantly.

Don't ask me how I know this shit.  I was pretty fucked up as a kid, OK?
