Morning guys and gals,

Im trying to download some aps for my I pod touch but I keep getting an error message.

After about 20 seconds of trying it says the network connection timed out. It also says make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active.

Any help? This is the first time I have ever seen this message..

Does it start downloading, then say it timed out?

It tries but the download bar does not progress.

I have restarted my PC thinking that might help but still nothing..

Try two things first;

1.Make sure your country is selected as the USA.

To Change the country iTunes store click on the flag at the bottom and click on the flag for your country.

2.Make sure your system clock is set correctly.

Windows

   * Click on the time in the Windows status bar with the right mouse button.
   * Select Adjust Date/Time from the menu.
   * In Windows Vista:
         o If the correct time zone does not appear under Time zone:
               + Click Change time zone....
               + Select the desired zone under Time zone:.
               + Click OK.
   * In Windows XP:
         o Go to the Time Zone tab.
         o Select the desired zone.
   * Click OK.

Mac OS X

   * Select System Preferences... from the Apple menu.
   * Choose Date & Time.
   * Go to the Time Zone tab.
   * Pick a city corresponding to your time zone under Closest City:.
