So when are they returning the land they took from Finland, or can Finland just re-claim their land? If I were Obama, this would be a fair trade or get out of Crimea That would be a good war and start it in the winter. You, OP, are assuming that there is such a thing as a fair trade between Obama and Russia. They have been able to take a fair amount of pride in that Putin has made Obama look like an absolute bitch at every opportunity. Don't take this the wrong way, but for a while now I've had more respect for Putin than for Obama. It's not that I want to... but at least he has a little testicular-fortitude in regard to world politics, not to mention definable moral and political standings. Obama has spent a whole lot of time on a "worldwide apology tour" on behalf of the USA, and has no definable moral or political standings. This does not strengthen our Global Superpower status in the least.
Russia knows that they will not be challenged by the United States in any meaningful or enforceable way from the Obama administration. This gives them free reign to do whatever they want. FBHO |
