I can neither pour a proper black and tan, nor can I handle drinking Guiness. I've tried to likeit, and it doesn't work. I suck ass.

I have, however, discovered that I have a natural affinity for Bass.

Edit: Quite a feew Bass, so far.

I'm more of a treble fan myself.

I tried it with a can of draught tonight and it actually worked.

You didn't fail so don't be so hard on yourself.

Just grab me a case of Pilsner and I'm happy.

Porters and Stouts are a bit different on the palate compared to regular ales and lagers.

Try Murphy's Double Chocolate Stout, you might like that :)

They taste better mixed.  The layering is hard, make sure the Bass is VERY cold, not so much with the Guiness.  It is best with fresh Guiness too as the nitrogen head helps float it.

Even if you completely botch it, you can still get drunk.

As for pouring it, pour it over the back of a spoon so it trickles in with less force.

I'll drink a black and tan every now and then, but Guiness is something I crave rarely and when I don't crave it it tastes bad to me.

I tried. Didn't work

Maybe it's because I'm not using Extra Stout, I'm using Draught.

Bass on tap is one of my top two favorite beers, can't decide if Anchor Steam is better or not!
