When you go over speed bumps, do you have to go at them at a 45 degree? I've owned the car less than 9 hours and haven't gone over any speed bumps yet, but probably. How fast does it go? Top speed is 153 MPH, 0-60 is 4.5-4.9 seconds depending on the source. Breaking/pull/wheel hop? Do you mean braking? It pulls very hard when the turbo spools up. Wheel hop? It's a monster when it comes to traction. Would you buy it again or suggest something else for the same price/combined funds allocated? I can't think of another car that can do what this car can do besides the Evo. However, the Subie is much better in terms of build quality. |

How has yours held up so far? Are you the first owner? |

Pushing 325awhp 375awtq to the ground after upgrades, dyno tune and road tune. For those asking, there is no wheel hop on a Subaru STi, we have 3 LSD's and power is distributed equally across all wheels, when once wheel slips or looses traction, it moves the power to another wheel. If you want to know more about who owned that car I can probably find out, since it was probably owned by somebody in the midwest with Illinois plates. I can check on Nasioc. |

Thanks! I'd had to settle for the 2.5i because I'd never be able to afford the insurance at my age. That's why my mom's name will be on the title. Too bad you don't have any snow to go play in There's plenty of snow where I go to school! But it's no AK, haha. ETA: 04 or 05? 05 Just remember, if you have summer tires, it aint going to help in the snow, get all seasons or at least a full winter setup. I doubt you will need for winter setup for Texas, but you never know. I have a full winter setup for mine, separate tires and rims, then in summer time, I switch to my summer setup. Yes its a pain in the ass, but I dont like sliding off roads because of poor tire choice. |
