Well kinda,,,
Been almost 3 weeks without work. Turned in an app to Red Lobster Monday, and interviewed with the manager Tuesday. Interviewed with the regional GM an hour ago and said I 'passed' my interview and he'd talk to the manager about finding a spot for me since they are pretty fully staffed now. Will be part time for now, then eventually full time when some of their full timers drop hours for school. Company offers full benefits too for full time employees, never had that before. Manager also said his full time servers make 600-800 cash a week on their 40 hours. Waiting on the call back about when I can start, but they expected possibly early as next week. |

Congrats. A piece of advice I give everyone about work: When faced with a decision at work (any decision), ask yourself, if I owned the place, what would I do. That is the right answer. We had a Red Lobster in town a few years back. I don't know what brain surgeon decided that NH was a good area to expand into. It didn't last too long. Too pricey and too corporate for a seafood restaurant in an area known for lobsters. |
