By the state police. I was driving though an intersection and saw what looked like an unmarked due to the antennas sticking up but it looked like a Fussion. So I was just sorts staring at it as I drove by. Well as soon as I passed, she immediately does a three point tern the road and hauls ass and pulls me over. I wasn't speeding or anything. She comes to my window and asks for DL, registration and inspection receipt. I handed her my DL and registration but I had no idea where my inspection recept was. Hell, I never knew that I had to keep it. So as I'm digging around she gets pissy that I'm digging in my consoles and that makes her nervous then tells me that my papers should be in better order. She finally cut to the chase when she asked me why my inspection sticker wasn't more neatly stuck on the wind shield and I said that I don't k ow and that I really didn't see a problem with it. She then accused me of having a stolen inspection sticker. She then tells me that she has a sensor on her car that can verify is my sticker is legit. She walks back to the car, comes back in 30 seconds to tell me that I'm in the system and free to go. WTF? |

Troopers are supposed to know that the inspector places the sticker on the window, so wtf can you do about it? Its probably a felony for an owner to peel and replace the sticker anyway. Derp. ETA, and the inspection receipt is that little pink postage stamp sized paper that the inspector balls up in my cupholder? Never thought to have it handy. Good to know. |

| When I got my inspection, the guy placed the sticker crooked on the windshield. Like you I was really upset about it and asked him to please make it straight and the inspector told me it was already adhered to the window and the special sensor used to sense fake ones was already programmed. I then asked to see a manager and the manager assured me that I would not bring special attention to myself because of the crooked sticker. His name I think was Tom, do you know Tom? |
