The Cowboys, that is. I hate the Dallas Cowboys. |
| Is it me, or is everybody sick of announcers second-guessing instant replay and being WRONG? Saw that idiot Deardorf do it yesterday, and tonight, it seemed everytime Keyshawn made a catch they tried to claim he was out of bounds. On his last catch - do they not understand the rule where if you would have come down in-bounds but are pushed out by the defensive player you are considered in-bounds? |
| The Seahawks have a real tallent for choking in the final minutes. Kudos to Dallas on a hell of a game though. And I am also getting sick of slow motion replay nit-picking. Sure play the clip but, i don't need an anouncer making an ass of himself when I can see the friggin play myself. |

What is it with the Dallas Cowboys and the networks? It's like Fox, ABC and CBS are queer for them or something. Almost every week the Cowboys are on TV here, and there are far more people here who don't like them than do. There's a group of about six teams that seem to be on TV every week with the Cowboys on the most by far. There are many Sundays that I don't watch the NFL at all because of the lousy scheduling, and I'm not alone. I know many others who feel the same way. I watch a lot more college football than I do pro anymore. There are far more choices on any given Saturday, and the games are usually more exciting as well (last nights game being an exception). I love watching football, but the NFL is rapidly losing me. |

Dallas is America's Team, for certain! You know how you can tell? More than 25% of all NFL licensed merchandise sold in a year is....Dallas Cowboys related! The remaining 75% is split up over the rest of the league! Heh-heh-heh! We're Number 1, we're Number 1! (In sales, at least!) Eric The(FactoidsAreGreatForWhatAilsYou)Hun

You gotta discount the prison population purchases of Dallas Cowboys merchandise, as the Cowpokes built an ENORMOUS fan base in the pokey, as they were disproportionately represented in there by Dallas players. ![]() |
That's why I pay $200 a year for the NFL Sunday ticket, until last night, I haven't watched them in several years. |
No, I don't tune in to watch them win or lose. I don't tune in at all. And I know I'm not alone in my feelings. If there isn't another game on that's worth watching (and that's certainly no lock), then I go do something else. I'm not about to run out and spend another $200.00 a year just so I can watch another game or two on Sunday either. With the networks offering no variety, I don't watch. Sad, because I enjoy football, but there are a lot more teams out there than the handful that the networks show over and over again. The bars wouldn't be so full of people looking to watch something other than the same old, same old on TV at home if the networks were offering the biggest draw games. And just who are they asking when they determine who the biggest draw is? Is this like the polsters who told us for months that Kerry was leading Bush in the election? They were really right too, weren't they? All I know is, the NFL is losing my interest, and fast. I put off chores from Saturday to Sunday now so I can watch college football. I'm sure not missing much with the usual NFL Sunday offerings. |
