I bought a rifle from a board member who lives in New Orleans. I'm just South of Houston so it should only take a few days for the rifle to get here. Well the rifle was received in Houston on the 17th yet it won't be sent our for delivery until the 21st So instead of delivering my rifle they choose to let it sit in their warehouse for 4 days for no apparant reason. What The Fuck? ..and yes I've already called them and they say that there's nothing that they can do. |
| Well, if you don't like fedex.....there is always UPS. You do realize that we do a pretty darn good job of delivering your assorted boxes in a rather timely fashion. If you want it by 1030AM, PLEASE use next day air. If you use ground, don't bitch at me when it gets to your home at 730P. |
I just don't understand why it has to sit in a warehouse for 4 days more than it has to. I ordered a package and I want that package, I don't need it to sit in a warehouse for 4 days for no reason. |

The last time I ordered something sent via Fedex it took them a week to delivery it after the package made it the local distribution point. Keep in mind that this is no less then 1 mile away from my house. The reason for the delays, the driver claimed he couldn't find my particular apartment. I live in a duplex with only two doors, right next to each other, am home all day, and yet the driver can't find my door. Keep in mind they claimed to be able to find the building just not my door. Never bothered calling, asking for directions, knocking on both doors, leaving with my neighbor. Nothing. Never again will I order anything through Fedex if I have a choice. There are some retards working for them around here. At least UPS I can count on. I know all the drivers in my area and they do me right every time. |

I'm not crazy about UPS but they do ground delivery better ... UPS always seems more likely to deliver early if the package reaches your area quicker than expected. With UPS I usually know that if I'm shipping something within 100 miles or so via Ground it will get there next day. With FedEx Ground service they do appear to sit on it if it's early to only give you what you pay for. I ship fairly regularly in my business so I use both. If it's something that absolutely must arrive next day or 2 day it goes FedEx and has nevr failed. If it's something local, or something big and doesn't NEED to be there at a certain time it goes UPS Ground. |
Well, you kind of set your self up shipping something out on a Sat. Thats not a normal freight movement day for ANY shipping company, And NO company moves freight on a SUnday, so there are 2 of the days gone right there. Take a second and think about how your shipped it out. It went out on a Sunday, the week before Thanksgiving. Comeon now. |
I know, and I don't have an explanation for why it did other than the packaging may have gotten damaged in transit and it took them 4 days to find someone senior enough to repackage your gun. |
The same driver who delivers your NDAs (if you are using UPS) is the same driver (most likely) that will deliver your grounds). |
You're confused. The rifle left New Orleans on Thursday, got into Houston on Saturday and has sat there ever since. |
I will be > furious if that happened |
I mean FedEx next day air. The UPS guy is retarded and so is the regular (not next day air) FedEx guy. |

Ahhhhhhh, ok. got ya. Call them and get on thier ass. Demand that they dig it out of a container. Demand a refund on the shipping fee. |
Whats yalls daily volume average? How many packages? |
1 million packages a day. |
