Some dirty, fucking shitbag, pole smokin, rotten turd burgler, douche bag, swizzle dick muther fucker, asshole, fuckface, twat waffle broke into my bosses truck yesterday at Lunch and stole my work bag with my laptop, external HD, Ipod and other work items.  Cops found my bag across the street with another bag in the Hooters parking lot.  Brought me my bag back but I was light a Lap top and HD.  This type of shit really pisses me the fuck off.  The more I think about it the more aggitated and agrivated I get.  Fucking shitasses.

Called my insurance company and I asked what my homeowners deductable was and I would have to have had a real fancy computer to meet that.  So mow my shit is gone, all my work for the last 7 years on it and personal info.  To make matters worse, that parking lot was being staked out by atleast 3 Police cars and they missed it.  Who ever this little prick cocksucker is has bass balls and I hope to Christ someone nails his fucking ass.  Wonderful way to start July.

Why do people continue to leave laptops, mp3 players and other valuables with personal information in their cars?

Around here you don't leave anything of value in the car.

We had just finished a meeting with a Client and stopped for lunch.  I wasnt about to bring my bag in to eat lunch, while on crutches in the fucking rain.  My bosses Truck wasnt the only vehicle this douche hit either.  The Police are currently staking out the lots and missed this prick.  The officer who responded was around the corner filling out paperwork on a break in that happened about an hour earlier and while he was doing that a couple in the car next to him were getting it on.

Nothing, but NOTHING will get your car broken into faster than a bag/briefcase unless you've got a pistol sitting in the front seat or a stash of cash

Moral of the story, don't leave bags in the open in your vehicle and chances are your vehicle won't get broken into. Were the doors even locked?

While I sympathize with anyone who get's their shit stolen, I ask that same question everytime I read these stories, and don't get me started on LEO's who continue to leave their rifles/pistols in their marked/unmarked cars only to have them stolen, which actually happend to a local County LEO a couple days ago, having his M4 and what was claimed to be a couple badges taken from his unmarked (which we know are easy to pick out) car in front of his home as he chose to leave them in the vehicle overnight, which was against Dept. policy.

doors were locked.  Broke in through the plastic surround near the doorhandle on the F-150, you can see the rod for the door locks through it and with a pair of pliers yank on it and voila door unlocked.  Well that will be the last time I ever take my bag to a meeting with a client. I'm gonna take a shitload of paper maps, printouts and the likes.

Just of of curiousty, does your lap top have a web cam?

If it does and they turn it on, you can ping the lap top assigned address. If on then remote activate the camera and see where it is.

Also when you buy a new computer you can get a gps system installed with a unique identifier(think lojack for computers. that can be reote activated and trace the computer's location.

Cars should be manufactured" thief friendly" ....without door locks. That way people wouldn't think it is ok to leave valuables inside their vehicles.

Sams Boat @ the Fountains in Stafford (Surgar Land) Texas.  Avoid it like the plague if you have an F-150 or a F-250.  Thieves are hitting that area hard, I was told AFTER my laptop and shit went missing.  sonofabitch. I may be coming down with a case of internet tourettes

what a genious idea .

how about we manufacture homes the same way? that way we never buy anything ever.  how about gun safes with out locks? sounds like a stellar idea to me.  Jesus Christ man, how about getting behind stronger enforcement of the laws for petty theft, that way people wont steal shit if they go to federal pound me in the ass prison for 5 years for stealing.  Either that or we just shoot the fuckers.  those sound like good ideas to me.

I think it's getting worse as unemployment drags on.

A couple months ago someone broke into an empty house a couple doors down.  Smashed the sliding glass door at 3am.  When people aren't afraid of smashing sliding glass doors in the middle of the night (it was loud enough to wake me up through closed windows) then you know things are getting desperate and/or shitty.

I order a lot of stuff online too.  Its always been left on my doorstep by UPS/FedEx with no problems.  I had a custom poster get stolen from my front porch, though in its big nondescript UPS box.  Now I'll have to have stuff delivered to work, or require a signature (which means I'll be driving to the UPS place to pick it up).

Shit's not safe anymore.

(I'm still checking Craigslist and Ebay for that poster, too.  Custom framed poster.  Not exactly worth a lot but since I designed the thing myself I know what it looks like and I know there's only 1 like it in the world and I hope to find it somewhere and call the cops on some fucker.  I bet it was the same person/people who broke into the house two doors down, too.  Sadly, I probably won't find it online because I'm pretty sure the people who stole it will end up being non-English speakers.  Ironically it was a poster of the statue of liberty with the poem from the statue on one side.)

Somebody got in my car in a few weeks ago but did not take anything.  The only reason I know they were there is that the glove box is broken (it has been broken for years) and when you open it just falls in the floor and dumps everything out.

I guess the were not interested in a few old metal CDs, spit bottles, and beat up cowboy hat with spent shell casings in it.

Though I would live to see their faces if they opened the trunk.  I have a bunch of random shit from a movie I was in and costumes from parties and such in there.  The biggest item in the trunk is clear garbage bag full of old medical supplies and covered in fake (but very realistic blood).  There are dummy grenades scattered around the trunk, sky masks, trench coat, ropes, duct tape, steel pot army helmet, airsoft guns painted up to look real at first glance (purely for costumes and props, I don't LARP), and possible scarriest of all considering the other stuff a clean red duffle bag filled with fresh medical supplies (EMT).

I have often wondered just how long I would 'detained' if I ever let a cop search my trunk.  Its all legal and there is a reason for every bit of it.  But it is till a damned interesting mix of stuff.

This is incorrect, not unless it was part of the car or attached to the car. The only time any insurance company pays for things like this involving a car is if someone were to hit you and then from the wreck these items were damaged. In other words, it has to be someone else's fault.

Because bad things always happen to someone else.
