years ago I used PC Anywhere.
I have used joinme.com but have had a lot of connection and loss of control problems.
Fastsupport.com seems to work well but its $69/month

What do you guys use and why do you use it?

I like teamviewer, logmein always asks you to upgrade and I believe actually blocks some features after a certain number of days?

Are you on Windows? Windows has RDP built in. Port 3389. Any other windows pc can access the one you want with an open port. Iphone and android have RDP apps too.

I've used both of these, they are very comparable and worked well for me.

I use RDP every day.  Needs a couple additions though IMO.

I have a dynamic DNS client so when my IP changes on my cablemodem I can still hit my machine.

I have my router configured to receive my RDP on a non-standard port.  The router then passes it to my PC on 3389.  My hope is that this will add a little extra security to my setup.  I tried to get port knocking working once, but I couldn't get it to work.  I probably should put DDWRT on my router instead of the stock firmware.

With Win7 it was only in the Enterprise(?) Edition?  I was pissed when I found out Home Premium did not support RDP.

I'm sure you can hack the registry and turn it on.

Tried a couple instructions found on the web to no avail; have you found something that works?
