I've got a few hundred bucks and I need to decide if I should dump it into my HK53 build or buy a Beretta Elite 9mm...

I can't get both (At least for now)...

If put it toward the HK53, the money would go to buy a retractable A3 stock and an HK53 locking piece...

After that, all I need to do is file the Form 1 and send it to Jayson at IGF...

What do you all think?

Here are some pictures...

I would get the beretta.  Its always nice having another gun in the collection.  You could always put money into the HK53 later right?

Shooting a new handgun is way more fun than looking at some parts sit on the floor. Buy the Beretta now and then either buy a complete HK53 or get all the parts you need all at once.

That's what I'm thinking...

It looks like I'll be getting the Beretta...

I'm going to need something to replace my USP...

I could possibly sell it to my dad for self defense...

It would be much better than the USPc LEM offered in the FFDO program...

The next thing I'll need is a few more EE sales...

I'm $310 away from my goal...

HK 53 would be my choice, hands down.  But I don't like Beretta handguns all that much and I can put off instant gratification, unlike much of our culture.

I pulled my SBR Krink out yesterday and have been admiring it. Well worth the wait. Awesome, just fucking awesome.  Going to shoot it this week, I am sure.

The Elite is an awsome piece of work.

Talked the ex-GF into getting one in .40 when we were still together.  She didn't like the my "snappy" .40's but fell madly in love with the Elite.  I imagine the 9mm version would be even more of a pussycat.

Fit and finish is excellent and its got a good trigger out of the box.  I don't think you'd be dissapoionted.

Go for the HK-53 parts! Much better investment than a Beretta!

On the other hand, if the ATF barrel ban from last fall is going to affect availibility of these aforementioned HK53 parts, you might want to get it now if it won't be availible in the future...

Adam Webber/HK4evr

I'll IM you his phone number and email address...

I doubt he has any HK33 kits left...

I was able to get the best out of the bunch and the others sold quickly after that...

All I need is the tax stamp, the A3 stock, and the locking piece...

When I am able to get my USP fixed and sell it to my dad, it is possible that I can get both...

I might have to get the HK53 parts...

I'm trying real hard to find a Beretta Elite II 9mm and one dealer told me they're discontinued...

Does anyone know where I can get a NIB Beretta Elite II 92G 9mm pistol?

If it gets any harder, I might get fed up and buy the parts...

I called another source and I can have the pistol by the end of the week...

Now that's a happy ending!

Just in time for my Winter break and the GA ARFCOM group shoot...

HK53

because 9mm handguns get boring real fast

put your money into something you will get more enjoyment from

the HK53 has more prestige

anybody can get a Beretta pistol

how many people have a chance to own a HK53? [very few]
