Here's the deal..  I put up landscape lighting a while back and I had to run the power cord a good ways around the house to the nearest outlet.  My house is made of stucco and at the bottom of the stucco, there is about a 1.5 in lip that I ran the cord in.  I used a putty-RV window seal putty, and just wedged the cord in that groove with the putty.  So it's been about a year and the putty is slowly giving out and dropping.

Any ideas as to what I could use to put the cord in that groove.  Maybe something that would harden and won't drop.  Friend suggested bondo, but I'm never messed with it and I was thinking that gravity would pull it down before it would dry.

The lip at the bottom of the stucco is the weep screed.  You don't want to block the bottom of it.  The stucco won't be able to drain/dry out after rains or irrigation watering.  This will lead to dry rot, mold, etc.

I am assuming that the wire that you ran under the weep screed is the line voltage.  Is there an electric outlet closer to your transformer but on the inside.  If so, you can install an outlet on the outside and connect it to the inside outlet.

We have our transformer in the basement and only ran the 12v line out to the lights.

I wasn't planning on sealing it all off.  Just wanted to tack it up here and there and pull the wire between.   Yes it's at the closest outlet but that's basically on the side of the house 80 ft away.

Try using cable clamps.  They are made by GB.  You should be able to find them in the electrical department at the big box hardware store of your choice.  You will need screw anchors to attach them to the stucco.
