Who's got it, other than tannerite.com, and who can get it to me by Friday? Montana here |
|
I'm going to try and feed as much of it as I can to my neighbors dog. You can figure out the rest The above was written in Jest. My neighbors dog isn't worth 6 bucks worth of tannerite ![]()

If you've ever bought that particular ingredient from a farm store youd know that you have to fill out shitloads of paperwork for it. ![]() They want to know how much you buy, where you store it, what field you put it on etc. Then they come and acutally test the field to see if that's where you were using it. |
If your talking about amonium nitrate 34-0-0 then I dont think you need to sign papers etc...

Who is this "they" you speak of. We have a couple of farm properties, never seen anybody do that |
I think he may be talking about Anhyd. Amon. some of the drug warriors have gotten allo ver that |
I've been wanting to try that, but where I shoot the lord of the manor would be very pissed if I set the place on fire. I am wondering if there is anything that would give you a colored smoke cloud. Mix it into a big blob of Playdough and let it dry? 'Course then you have a grenade. |
I have no idea, I just pulled that off of a couple of Wikipedia articles (hense the I'm sure it's like Tannerite - ie, it's legal because you haven't mixed the two main components, and since it's illegal to store it once you mix it, it must be 'used' as soon as you mix it. At the very least being stopped with both ingredients in your car would bring some very negative attention. Since Tannerite is binary just the same, I'll bet that if two people meet at the range - each bringing one of the two ingredients - it's all kosher (unless you get busted on keeping that fuel somewhere other than a regulation gas can |
How about the finely powdered colored chalk kids play with? It comes in squirt bottles. Oh - and IBTL. |

I would not suggest mixing Nitromethane with Tannerite. It would be very sensitive. Not sure what lye would do. I would just say be careful what you mix. Tannerite is designed to be impact sensitve to a rifle shot. Adding other ingrediants might make it unstable. I am absolutly sure you don't want to add Nitromethane to the ingrediants already in Tannerite. .02 |
Yar, also I just checked, it's the state I live in where the DNR records and measures use of NH4NO3. It's a total pain in the ass. |
