An end to personal army requests. I see a lot of threads and requests for people to do this or that, if you want something done then do it yourself. The firemissions are getting excessive.
People expect more handouts than a charity case on the streets of Chicago. What say you? |

Ban yourself... This is a community, what you propose is the opposite of what this fine site is all about. I'm not talking about people truly in need. I willingly help arfamily if I'm able, I mean the random shit that is for self gain and not for someone in need. Perhaps I needed to clarify on the distinction. |

I guess I agree then, to a point...some of the requests are a bit self serving. Sorry about the harsh reply earlier |

If it seems like a good firemission, what harm does it do you to help out a member of the greatest gun forum in the interwebs? |

Quoted: I say the military is a special class of our society that deserves special treatment. The jobs I had over my 40 years of working did not involve me possibly DYING. IMHO you need to shed some of that Code Pink mentality Sheddy. I don't think the 'personal army' comment refers to actual military. More like getting an army of supporters to vote for your little Fifi in the 'cutest dog' contest. I think those kind of requests water down what the Fire Mission threads were intended for. |
