Alright hive. My grandfather asked me the other day to help him identify the stadium in the picture below. I'm struggling to identify any stadium with three tiers of stands on the sides but only a lower bowl in the endzones.
I have no idea on the era of the photo, but my guess is the planes have been photoshopped in.
Link to an image which can be enlarged is here. |

Falcon Stadium http://www.defense.gov/dodcmsshare/homepagephoto/2010-05/hires_100526-F-0558K-002c.jpg Good call on the 3 tiers, but I don't think it is the one in question. The lights don't match, and it appears that there is an overhang between levels of seats, whereas Falcon Stadium lacks the overhang. You're right. Sorry. I saw the three tiers and the low bowl, and figured the airplanes were a hint, and didn't look carefully.

I got a little excited when I first googled it! |

Link did not work for me. http:// oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=1018364&vid=1&pid=122415002
Older picture in the heyday of the foam finger. Yes, most of the single-tiered end zone stadiums have been expanded. |

what are those jets in the sky? Id the jets. find what bases they fly out of, then search arenas for college and pro football teams around the base then look at photos to see which stadium matched that one on the shirt.
I was going to do that, but I have no clue what they are. |

Had not considered the possibility of two separate stadiums. Damn you! Quoted:

The 9 could be Kyle field. The 4 is not Kyle field. - diehard Aggie fan. Had not considered the possibility of two separate stadiums. Damn you! That's my guess from my phone. The 9 looks like the student section at Kyle, and taking a closer look at the lights could confirm. The decks look right to me from that angle. Hopefully an Ag at a comp can do a proper look at it and confirm. The 4 is not our stadium at any point in recent history. |

It's shopped to hell.... I'm sure it's been altered to NOT resemble a particular stadium. Quoted:

Light standards aren't right for Kyle Field. That scoreboard doesn't look like one Kyle ever had either. This is correct. Old Navy ain't about to pay royalties to anybody. |
