I would want to go back and spend time with my Danish grandpa.
Up until the German occupation of WW 2 he was a sardine fisherman out of Skagen. I would love to spend a summer with him working on that boat. During the German occupation he was part of the underground and since he knew the waters between Denmark and Sweden he smuggled Jews to Sweden. Accompanying him a smuggling trip or two would be a close second if I could go back.... |

I would go back to all the Tulsa gun shows and buy the guns I passed up that were gone when I went back or couldn't find again.
I won't make this same mistake Saturday. |

I always thought it would be fascinating to see the Titanic sink. But OP's watching the pyramids built would be pretty fucking cool, too!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the original filming of Bigfoot.
I'd want to see Jesus's earthly ministry, crucifixion, experience the darkness over the land, the earthquake, the tearing of the temple veil and the resurrection. |

To see what they buried on Oak Island.
Serious - See Jesus' birth. American Revolution Experience the Battle of Bull Run, Fredericksburg, or Antietam with one of ancestral grandfathers- but I am certain the death and horror of battle would be overwhelming. Ford's Theatre April 14, 1865 and lock the door. The 6th Floor of The Texas School Book Depository November 22, 1963 and bump a guy before he may or may not have taken a shot. Boston Logan Airport September 11, 2001 cause a few problems to delay flights or shut down the airport. |

I have a degree in archaeology, got fed up with the lockstep mentality bullshit of it, and, frankly, I want answers to a lot of shit. The Pyramids. Baalbek. Sacsayhuaman. Puma Punku/Tiawanaku And about a dozen others... ...and that doesn't even scratch the surface of the sites like Gobekli Tepe, or the other "tepes" in the vicinity. I love science. I think the scientific method is how humankind advances, and always will advance. The studies at many of these sites share nothing with the scientific method. When you invent the time machine, I'm in for travel, even if it's one-way. We'll work our way backwards a bit at a time, to see all of this, until we get eaten by a T-Rex. Cool. |
