Not a prayer request for myself. A coworker friend of mine is going through a divorce. Her husband has been cheating on her. She’s obviously very distressed, and she’s a good friend to my wife and I, so obviously we are both distressed about it too. She’s a believer and just one of those super nice people, the kind of person that just deserves better than this kind of treatment. |

Need as much prayer as I can get right now. Not going into specifics, but I've not been this dead and empty inside in a long time. Not really looking for or expecting happiness (I gave up on that years ago), but a little contentment would go a long way right now. |

Give Him thanks for that. Pray a short prayer daily asking for God's Holy Spirit to guide you and to protect your family. Perhaps add the Lord's Prayer each day as well. Trust God for His grace to bring about a positive resolution to the issues you have mentioned. Best wishes for to you and your family, too! |

I began a sort of spiritual journey probably around a year ago. I strived away from Jesus for many years unfortunately. I was preparing to go to confession and in walks a very HOLY and young priest who was a former student of mine. I felt the weight of my sins on a new level that day and through tears, warned this gentle man, that I had some big sins... with the greatest JOY, he smiled and said, God has BIGGER FORGIVENESS. What you do is follow the path Christ gave us. He said, leave your offering at the altar, go and make amends before asking the Our Lord for forgiveness. You don't have to be Catholic to talk to a priest. In spite of what the world says about Catholics, there are many good and holy priests, like the apostles are able to forgive sins through the ordination. Just as Christ sent His Apostles. Understand it is not the man who forgives (only God can forgive our sins). God loves you and waits for you. |

| Guys, I have humbled myself to ask for a prayer for me and my family. We are all healthy and have jobs etc. it’s been a rough few months and we have all been through some stuff and we are tired and exhausted in more ways than physically. My youngest daughter is currently deployed to Kuwait. Last night they had a rocket fired at Camp Buehring by a pro-Iranian militant group. Today and for the next few days, they're under an attack warning for mortars and rockets. She could use a few words of prayer. Thank you in advance. |

I don't really know what to do right now. Or if I should ask anyone for help. God said He won't give us more than we can bare. And I believe that. But when He takes it up to the near limit, I'm not sure if we should ask other people for help I think asking for prayers is ok. And I'd like to ask for anyone who is willing to pray to God on my behalf. Lately I've been asking God for forgive me of my sins, to show me my sins, and to help me with repentance. I've also been asking God to direct my path. I've been praying this for a few months. It's been about 30 years since I've earnestly sought God. But I've been doing that again. I want do draw closer to Jesus and God. I woke up in the middle of the night last night (not unusual), and I had part of a scripture in my head but I couldn't remember the rest of it. (This has also been happening to me a lot the last 9 months, not just when sleeping). I had to get up and look it up because I just needed to know what it was. This was the part of scripture that came to me: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Using a search on my cell phone I found out it was from Proverbs Ch 3 : Trust in the Lord 1My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: 2For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. 3Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. 8It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. 9Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. 11My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: 12For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. _____________ I was going to list things that have been going on. Just writing this out and reading the whole of verses 1-12 I'm feeling less overwhelmed. But please pray for me. All the overwhelming things have been going on so long. And it's just so difficult and I feel so alone. Thank you. |

Hey folks, Not a believer of any sort (long story) but I think I'd like to at least ask for prayer. It can't hurt right? My mother died unexpectedly two weeks ago. I saw her at 3pm and by 3:45 she was gone. It's really hit me hard in a way that I can't seem to shake. I'm just numb - I can't even mourn at this point. We did her celebration of life at her church and 500 folks showed up - she was a sincere believer and had a great church to back her up. But now she's just gone. I used to see or talk to her at least a couple of times a week and now there's an empty spot that I really don't know what to do with. I have a great support system here - good friends and a fantastic wife. The entire experience has pulled my immediate family (I have two kids) closer than we've ever been. Externally everything is fine. Internally though, some important structural members have received significant damage that threaten the integrity of the entire system. I'd just like to ask someone here more qualified than I to say a few words to the big guy in my favor. I need to find a way to just let go and let the emotions out. I can feel it churning and bubbling - but I just can't seem to express any of it in a meaningful way. My wife says I stuff my emotions - but I know I can't stuff this one. I just need to get it out! It's like acid eating at my heart. I need to mourn - but I can't. I'm not sure this makes any sense - but if there *is* a god he knows what I'm trying to say right? Thank you to you all! |

First off, thank you for your prayers on our financial problems. They haven't gone unnoticed. I could use more now. I had a CT scan for some bowel problems and they found something on my kidney. My doc is concerned as am I. I know the outcome is set but could you please pray for me? |

My wife has been critically ill since the last week of December. Some of her doctors have written her off. I am mentally and physically exhausted as my own health issues overcome me. I am asking for prayer warriors to help her get a fighting chance to beat her issues, heal her before her insurance stops paying for care, and keep all the medical bill collectors at bay while she convalesces. Thank you for listening. |
