With the possibility of a complete Assault Weapons Ban in Illinois, I am wondering what my options are? Can I simply [i]give[/i] my AR to my brother-in-law in Missouri to keep/'own'? until I get out of this hell hole. Are there any transfer issues and cross state line issues? It may be easier, because of a clause that allows long gun purchases to residents of 'touching' (Indiana, Wisc.,Mo, Ia) states. But I have no idea. |

If it were me, I'd just ask him to store them for me, and if he has kids, get a safe for him to keep them in. I wouldn't worry about the "transfer" issues, since yo uare not transfering them. These idiot politicians ase pushing this country over the edge, and will find themselves hanging from a rope if things don't change soon. |
